The cleaners who came to my place did an awesome job! The attention to detail was great. They cleaned areas which I haven’t cleaned for a long time such as the trim, surface of the hood fan, and areas which are hard to reach. I was very happy with their service. I really appreciate their promotion for health care workers and that’s how I found this company. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a professional cleaning!

This was my first experience with having house cleaners come, and they did not disappoint.They did a great job! We have a pretty clean house to begin with, but lately it has been getting harder to keep up with the dusting and the floors and the bathrooms. I'm a mom with a 2.5 yr old and expecting babe #2, and I work full time as Registered Nurse. My work at the hospital keeps me busy during the day, and my daughter keeps me so busy during the evening, so there isn't much time or energy left to do all the scrubbing. I was extremely grateful for the extra hands to do the work I just couldn't get to. So appreciated!Thanks to the Hockey Maids team for their generous gift of 2 hours of free service and for their support of me and my fellow health care workers.Thanks to whole team for everything you guys are doing!

Hugely appreciated the cleaners coming to my house for 2 hours- helped me get back on top of cleaning my house. So much more manageable now that they came. They were punctual, polite, asked me to double check the bathrooms to see that they were done well before they mopped, and even offered to clean my outside windows (probably because the outside was so dirty the now clean insides didn’t look spectacular 😜). I declined the outside clean only because they had already done their time and I wouldn’t expect them to go over. A little more attention to detail would have made this experience even better though- kitchen counters were wiped but none of the small appliances were moved or cleaned under, the microwave was clean but not the ceiling of it, the baseboard in the bathroom was missed.

I had used hockey maids in the past to clean my home on a monthly basis I was happy with their service so when it came to selling my home and hiring a company to clean the carpets and professionally clean the house before the new owners arrived of course I thought of hockey maids. I was not there to do a walk-through when finished but was not concerned as I knew they would do a good job and they did. the new owners actually sent a message through my realtor to us to say they were thrilled with the clean house clean carpets. Hockey Maids have provided cleaning services to us for 7 years. The cleaners consistently do an excellent job, paying attention to detail and do a thorough clean each time. I appreciate that the cleaners are generally the same two people, so they know our house well and are efficient with the cleaning. If I need to change my time, Louie does his best to accommodate. Contacted Hockey Maids at last minute for a move in clean... after we had already moved in. They sent a manager out the next morning to do a quote. We had requested what we thought would be additional service, walls washed, cupboards and drawers cleaned in addition to normal cleaning service. They advised it was all part of their normal procedure. We accepted a very reasonable quote and they had a 3 person crew at our door 9:00AM the next morning. The job they did was beyond our expectations. They moved everything to clean and then moved it back to where we had it. Thank you Ted and to your entire team. I would highly recommend your services.

I honestly had a great experience with this company and will hire them in the future for sure!! Two cleaners showed up on time, were polite and ready to work! They worked within my budget to clean out my renter basement suit. They even stayed over the allotted time to clean the shower at no extra cost!!

Due to a car crash I was unable to swiftly clean my home after a move out. On a whim I called Hockey Maids to see if they could squeeze me in (I had previously used their services and was pleased). At first I was told no, which was understandable, but then the operator said that he would call his cleaners and see if they could get me in. I was scheduled for the Friday afternoon (inspection was on the Saturday) and so I forgot about cleaning the old place for the week. On the Friday I waited for the cleaners to arrive at 2pm. I received a call from the head office saying that they would be 15-20min late. Okay, I can deal with that. 40min past 2 and still no cleaners so I called the office. They contacted the cleaners who contacted me - going to be another 50min (making me late for an appointment). Call back and say "wait, we will actually be only 10-15min, we are closer than we thought. Great, still going to be late but that's not as bad. 3:15 rolls around and I call the cleaners again - they couldn't find my place (it's a pain in the butt and sometimes is hard to find on GPS systems) but instead of contacting me after they had gone to the wrong place they simply drove around the neighbourhood aimlessly. FINALLY they arrived at my place. I told them that I could show them what needed to be done and then I had to run as I was late for my appointment. I had purchased a standard move-out package. Before I left I said "takes about three hours?" and the cleaner said "Yes" and I said that I would be back in a little under three hours but if they finished before I was back that they could lock the door. I get back, expecting a nice clean apartment. The place smells clean when I opened the door. That was the only nice part. While it was no dirtier than when I had left it was also barely any cleaner. It looked like they had half-heartedly cleaned the floor (it had been mopped but there was still stuff on it) and...that's it. No cleaned fridge, baseboards, walls, stove, oven, bathroom (though the toilet bowl had been cleaned the outside had not), vacuumed carpets, or dusting had occurred. I paid $270.00 to force my busted-up body to clean my house in a few hours because the inspection was in the morning. If they had said they did not have time for me I would have done the same cleaning slowly and with breaks over the week. I left a message with the main office and eventually got a full refund. It appears that the cleaning previous to mine took too long and instead of being able to give me my full 3 hour time slot, I was shorted. And instead of anyone I spoke with telling me this at any point, I was left with the clean up. I would never recommend this group to anyone.

This was the first time that I have had my house professionally cleaned and the place looks like the day I moved in. I have used Hockey Maids over the last 2 years and I will continue to use the service. The work is exceptional, with environmentally safe products used. Areas are dusted and vacuum'ed, kitchen is cleaned and bathrooms are well done.

I have been using their service for almost 3 years now. Their customer service team is wonderful, and is able to accommodate schedule changes and cancellations in a timely fashion. I have used other services previously, and Hockey Maids clean my house better than anyone else, in less time. They are just fantastic! Very thorough, I find they often go above and beyond the call of duty. My favourite day of the month is always Hockey Maid day!
